A. By default, Vista doesn’t include the Telnet client, which is a text-based application for communicating with remote systems. You can install it by following these steps:
1. Open the Programs and Features Control Panel applet (Start, Control Panel, Programs and Features).
2. Select “Turn Windows features on or off.”
3. Select the Telnet Client option and click OK.
4. A dialog box appears, confirming the installation of new features. After installation is complete, close the main Programs and Features Control Panel applet. The telnet command should now be available.

Sadly, I read “TwitKu service to end May 15. Sorry folks, but I just cannot devote the time, money and energy to this project any longer. It was fun while it lasted.”
I use Twitku a lot! I, for one, will be sorry to see it go. Anyone else feel this way? Any ideas of how to save it? Any alternatives?

In Larry King’s interview w/ Jon Stewart, Larry brought up the subject of the primaries & asked him if America was ready for a woman or a black president. Jon looked at him quizzically & said, ‘This is such a non-question. Did anyone ask us in 2000 if Americans were ready for a moron?’

A “common trick is to make the anchor text for a link appear to be valid, when the link actually goes to the phishers’ site” - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phishing
For example, I got this email apparently from PayPay that has a link that looks like it is linked to https://www.paypay.com, but it is in fact linked to http://tatianamccabe.com/index.html.

A friend of mine is delighted by puns with people’s names in them. He was teacher for many years and had gathered quite a few (puns), but he did not save the list from the chalkboard.
Here’s a few of them, to get us started, but I would greatly enjoy any more if anyone can think of some!
- Sit up, Chuck
- Pull the curtain, Rod
- Pass the water, Lou
- Hi, Gene
- Would you help me move the lumber, Jack?
Any more, anyone?

Seems to me that people follow other people at Twitter for a few reasons:
- Appeal of someone’s posts/interests (this is my reason)
- Build a large following, by following someone, in the hopes to have it reciprocated.
- Advertise their own webpage/blog/site.
What are some other reasons?

Using existing software, it is possible to begin to implement the first geneartion of the Epiphany Suit, albeit without the contact lens and the clothes, using a Mozilla browser Addon called “Hyperwords”, Mozilla browser Search_Plugins», and My_System». Hyperwords allows for search, in-line [language] translation, and many more things, straight from any web page!!! Have a look at the demo. Also, using a more traditional solution that uses a familiar paradigm, Search_Plugins» can be added to your Mozilla browser (e.g. Firefox, Flock), and searches can occuring from the browser’s search box*. And using My_System», you can categorically record things that you learn about or research, for future reference. For example, use a single starting place full of links to your various subjects/topics. For example: My A-List - My Epiphany Suit / My Annotated Tag Cloud: High-level topics / tags, that are important to me, that are linked to individual documents, on that subject. Sort of like having a personal Wikipedia
Any other means of implementing
